Biotechnology for research on normal lung and thymus function and pathological changes in ageing

Keywords: tissue printing, tissue reconstruction, ageing

The tissue printing laboratory of the SCC is partly dedicated to the regeneration and reconstruction of human tissues to promote the use of transplantable tissues. As a result of their research, therapeutically relevant elements of the molecular alterations underlying lung cancer have been identified and shared with the scientific community. In the context of tissue printing, the research group is reliably modelling the function of complex human tissue models of organs under laboratory conditions.
